§ Anti-Course Two hours. Zero waffle.

Set up your Bitcoin so that even if someone finds your seed phrase, they still can't take it.

Two hours of video. By the end of it you'll have a setup with no single point of failure, no third party holding a key, your own node verifying every transaction, and an inheritance plan your family can actually follow. The shortest path from "my Bitcoin's on an exchange" to "fully sovereign" that I could write down.

§ 01 · What changes

Fears that disappear by the end of the course.

Most people who buy Bitcoin spend the next few years quietly worried about losing it. The setup in this course makes those worries go away one at a time. Below is each fear, and the specific thing you'll do about it.

  1. 01

"What if someone finds my seed phrase?"

They can't access your Bitcoin. You'll use a 25th-word passphrase that sits separately from the 24 words. Two things, two places. Lose the seed phrase, you're fine. Lose the passphrase, you're fine. Only both together unlock the wallet. No single point of failure.

  2. 02

"What if my exchange collapses like FTX?"

Your Bitcoin isn't on an exchange. It's in a hardware wallet you hold. FTX, Mt Gox, the next collapse with a three-letter name on it. None of them touch you. You're not a customer of a platform anymore, you're a holder of Bitcoin.

  3. 03

"What if I die without telling anyone how to access this?"

You'll have an inheritance plan your partner, your parents, or your kids can follow without you. A real one, with a document they can find, instructions that work, and a recovery procedure you've actually tested. Not a "I'll figure it out later" plan. A done plan.

  4. 04

"What if there's another supply chain attack like September 2025?"

In September 2025, malicious code shipped to over two billion downloads of trusted software. Crypto users were told to stop transacting. If your hardware wallet had never touched the internet, you were completely safe. The course shows you exactly which device makes that true and why. Air-gapped means immune.

  5. 05

"What if a government decides to freeze Bitcoin transactions?"

You'll run your own node. Transactions go straight from you to the Bitcoin network. No middleman, no API to shut off, no service to suspend, no platform to comply with. You also get a vote in what the network does next. One node, one voice. The more of us run nodes, the harder it is for anyone, anywhere, to coerce the network.

  6. 06

"What if someone forces me to send my Bitcoin at gunpoint?"

The 25th-word passphrase gives you a duress wallet too. Show them the seed phrase, let them open the decoy wallet with a small balance, hand it over. Your real stack lives behind a different passphrase. They get the show, you keep the savings. This is the defence against the so-called "five-pound wrench attack."

  7. 07

"What if I can't move my Bitcoin when I want to?"

You can. Always. Send any amount, to anyone, anywhere on Earth, at any time, without asking permission from any bank, exchange, or government. No minimum, no maximum, no "we're sorry, we're closed for a bank holiday." You verify the transaction through your own node and broadcast it yourself. The first money in human history this is actually true of, and it's about to be true of yours.

  8. 08

"What if I get this wrong and lose everything?"

I've made every one of the mistakes already. I locked myself out of a wallet in 2019 and learned the hard way what a test transaction is. The course walks you through the exact dry-run I now do every time: small amount sent, small amount received, recovery rehearsed, signatures tested. By the time you put real money in, you've already proved the setup works.

§ 02 · The confession

I'm not sure I should be making this.

Most online courses are a community, a Discord, a weekly call, a Slack channel, ninety hours of video, and a coaching tier that costs three thousand pounds. They have to be. Otherwise the price doesn't justify itself.

I don't want to run any of that. I run a YouTube channel. I want you to watch two hours, do the things, and then leave me alone so I can make more videos.

So this is the opposite of a course. There's no community. There's no live call. There's no Discord, no homework, no certificate. I'm not building a tribe. I'm not gamifying your progress.

I made the thing I wish someone had handed me in 2015. You watch it once. You do the steps. You're done.

§ 03 · Who this is for

Built for someone specific.

Yes, if you
  • Already think Bitcoin might be a thing, but haven't sorted your custody.
  • Own some Bitcoin on an exchange and know that's not ownership.
  • Want one walkthrough that's actually finishable in a weekend.
  • Don't want to be in someone's Discord at 7pm on a Tuesday.
  • Are 35+ and have something to lose if you get this wrong.
No, if you
  • Want to "make ten percent a month" trading altcoins.
  • Need a community to keep you accountable.
  • Want weekly live Q&A or a private mentor.
  • Already self-custody with multisig and feel confident.
  • Are looking for the next 100x coin. That's not what I do.
§ Before you buy

You'll need a small bit of gear.

I want to be upfront about this so nobody's surprised after they buy. The course walks you through setting up real hardware. If you don't already own it, here's what you'll need to budget for.

Required

A hardware wallet (Cold Card)

Around £140 to £200 one-off. The Cold Card is the air-gapped device I use and walk through step by step. It never touches the internet, which is exactly why holders were safe during the September 2025 supply chain attack. If you already own one, brilliant, you can use it.

Optional

A way to run your own node

Three paths, your choice: free (use a laptop and external drive you already own), cheap (around £100 in parts and an afternoon, Raspberry Pi build), or easy (a Start9, around £700 to £1,000, plug it in and go). I show all three inside.

One more thing. If you buy the course, I'll pass on any discount codes I've negotiated with the gear partners I actually use. Sometimes they're 5%, sometimes more, sometimes nothing on a particular product. I'll never inflate the price to make a discount look bigger, and I'll never pretend a code exists if it doesn't.

§ 04 · What's inside

Two hours, seven sections, no padding.

The benefits above are what you walk away with. This is the specific path. Each section ends with a hands-on step you do on your own setup before moving on. If a section feels obvious, skip it. The point is the steps, not the watch time.

  1. 01

Why this setup, in plain English

    ~10 min

The skeptic-turned-believer argument, condensed. Why self-custody, why a hardware wallet, why a node, why a passphrase. The floor everything else stands on. If you've watched the channel you can skip this.

  2. 02

Buying without giving up your privacy

    ~15 min

The exchanges I actually use, ranked by jurisdiction (UK, US, Canada, Australia). Auto-withdraw straight to your own wallet so you never custody more than a single buy at once. The mistakes I made the first three times. What to do if your bank flags a transfer.

  3. 03

    Hardware wallet, set up properly

    ~25 min

The air-gapped device that never touches the internet. Why that matters and why holders of this kind of device were completely unaffected by the September 2025 supply chain attack. Box-fresh setup. PIN code. The 24-word seed phrase generated on-device. Backup strategy without the seven common ways people lose it.

  4. 04

The 25th word — your secret weapon

    ~15 min

The passphrase that turns one seed phrase into a billion separate wallets. No single point of failure. A duress wallet for the worst-case scenario. Where to store it, where not to, and how to memorise one you'll still remember in twenty years.

  5. 05

Run your own node — three ways

    ~20 min

The free option, the cheap option, and the easy option. Pick the one that fits your time and budget. Sync the full blockchain. Connect your wallet software to it on your laptop. Send and receive transactions through your own node, verified by you, with no third party reading your balance or filtering what you can spend.

  6. 06

Inheritance — the plan your family can follow

    ~20 min

Estate planning when nobody you know understands Bitcoin. A document your family can actually find, instructions they can actually follow, and a recovery procedure you've actually tested. The partner conversation. The parent conversation. A drill you run with whoever is named in the plan so it works the first time.

  7. 07

Living with it — privacy, drills, the long game

    ~15 min

Privacy practices that actually matter and the ones that are security theatre. The single check I do once a year and otherwise leave it alone. What to do when the price drops fifty percent. What to do when it doubles. The rules for adding to the stack without breaking the setup.

§ 05 · The price

Why it's half-price if you pay in Bitcoin.

If you pay in Bitcoin, the price is £150. If you pay in pounds, the price is £300. That's not a marketing gimmick. It's the same logic the rest of the channel runs on.

Paying in Bitcoin means you've already done some of the work the course is about. You've got a wallet. You can move it. You understand what you're spending. That's worth the discount because the course is shorter for you.

Paying in fiat means I'm meeting you earlier in the journey. That's fine. It costs more because the course has to do more work to get you to the same place.

Either way
  • Lifetime access — no renewal, no annual fee
  • All four sections, full quality download
  • The companion notes PDF (the steps without the video)
  • Updates when the steps change (rare, but they do)
  • One email address you can actually reach me on
§ 06 · One promise

If you finish it and feel like you wasted your time, I'll refund you.

The promise is there for the same reason the channel exists. This isn't supposed to feel like being sold to. If the course doesn't earn the price you paid, that's on me, not you. Email me. I'll send the refund. No form, no questions about whether you "really tried." I've never had to do it, which I'm taking as a sign the thing is working. If you'd be the first, fine.

§ 07 · The honest FAQ

The questions I actually get.

Is this enough? I feel like I need more hand-holding.

For most people, yes. For some people, no. If you've never owned digital anything and the words "hardware wallet" make you tense up, you might need a call. That's what Tier 04 exists for. The Anti-Course assumes you're capable of following step-by-step instructions and pausing the video when you need to.

How is this different from your free YouTube content?

The YouTube videos are designed to be entertaining and educational. This is designed to be operational. Different goal. The YouTube videos make you nod. The Anti-Course makes you do the thing.

Why no community?

Because running a community well is a full-time job and I already have one. Communities also tend to turn into places where people argue about altcoins instead of doing the work. If you want a Bitcoin community there are good ones already. I'll point you at them in the course.

Will the steps still work in two years?

The principles will. The exact hardware wallet I recommend might not be the cheapest option. I send updates when something material changes. The seed-phrase math doesn't update.

I'm not sure I'm ready. Should I do the free template first?

Yes. The free Bitcoin Security Template (link in the nav) is the seventeen-point checklist version of section three. If that's enough for you, you don't need this. If you finish it and want the rest, the course is here.

How do I pay in Bitcoin?

Email me. I'll send a Lightning invoice or an on-chain address. Either works. The £150 price is calculated at the spot rate when the invoice is generated. It's manual on purpose. Anyone who can't manage a Lightning payment doesn't get the BTC discount.

Can I expense this through my company?

Yes. Email me and I'll send a proper invoice you can put through the books.

§ 08 · Get the course

Two hours.
Then leave me alone.

Recommended
Pay in Bitcoin
£ 150

Half price. Because you've already done some of the work.

Email me for an invoice →

I'll reply within 24 hours with a Lightning invoice or on-chain address. Manual. On purpose.
